Where does the retreat take place?

In Santa Rosa de Dinamarca, Pucallpa, Ucayali, Peru. Arrive through the city of Pucallpa; our team will agree your meeting point and the onward journey to the community with you. Plan your arrival.

What makes the Sacred Private retreat personal?

One guest is accompanied by two shamans and one support team member. You have a private room, bathroom and shower, and ceremonies can take place in your room. See the full private arrangement.

Can I book a Personal Retreat on my own?

Yes. Book one place and you may share the ceremony with one other guest. Personal welcomes up to two guests, each with a dedicated shaman and an individual room. You can also come with a companion. Explore the Personal Retreat.

Are your prices per person?

Standard seven-day prices are per person, in US dollars: Sacred Private US$2,699, Personal US$1,799 and Circle US$1,199. Personal also has a two-person offer of US$2,899 in total for two guests travelling together. Compare prices and inclusions.

Can I participate without drinking ayahuasca?

Yes. You follow the same retreat arrangements and attend the ceremonies without drinking ayahuasca. Listening to live icaros offers a way to encounter the tradition and make space for reflection. Explore non-drinking participation.

Are Piñón Negro and Piñón Blanco the same practice?

No. Piñón Negro is the cleansing ceremony included in all three retreats. Piñón Blanco is a separate dieta and part of the apprenticeship. Understand the difference.

Can a woman come on her own?

Yes. You can choose female accompaniment from the designated staff available for your dates. Agree the person, communication and boundaries before booking. Meet the team.

How does the complimentary extension work?

For a limited time, the nine-day stay includes two extra days of room and meals and a fourth ayahuasca ceremony at the original per-person price. Confirm this offer with the team. See the extended stay offer.

What happens before I book?

Ask about dates, complete the private health questionnaire for shaman review, have a consultation and agree the written booking terms. Shaman review is not a physician’s medical assessment. Read preparation and safety.

How do I pay and what are the refund terms?

Agree available payment methods, amounts, due dates, cancellation and refund terms with customer service before paying. Request those terms in writing.

Can I add an extra week?

Yes, subject to agreed dates. Additional weeks cost US$2,199 per person for Sacred Private, US$1,299 for Personal and US$900 for Circle. These paid weeks are separate from the complimentary two-day offer.

How are two shamans arranged for one guest?

It refers to one guest receiving private ceremonial attention. The Sacred Private Retreat includes two shamans and one support team member for that guest.

Can I join a Personal Retreat alone?

How is the six-guest retreat divided?

Two groups of three guests each have one shaman and two support staff. At full capacity, that is six guests, two shamans and four support staff. See scheduled dates.

Who teaches and guides the shamans?

How do dieta and icaros relate to ceremony?

Our maestros describe dieta as a way of learning from plants and icaros as bringing that learning into song during ceremonial work with a guest. Read about the relationship.

Is Piñón Blanco the included cleansing ceremony?

No. The included Day 2 cleansing ceremony is Piñón negro. Piñón Blanco is a separate plant dieta, with its own individually discussed arrangements. Compare the two practices.
